From November 20th to 22nd, the British SPEEDLINE assisted the NewFaster Fanshide team to take part in the 67th Macau Grand Prix Guia Race with a luxurious lineup of four cars.
Huang Chuhan, Li Wanqi, Sun Junlong and Zou Baolong will join forces to challenge the legendary Guia Street and compete with racing masters from all over China. The race is about to start, and all members of the NewFaster team have been preparing for battle in the paddock in full swing.
Among them, Huang Chuhan, the captain and person in charge of the team, will partner with experienced veteran Li Wanqi to participate in the competition under the team of Xincheng Real Estate Fanshide. The two drivers will drive the No. 81 and No. 51 Audi RS3 LMS TCR cars respectively; and the two newcomers Sun Junlong and Zou Baolong The finalists are also driving the Audi RS3 LMS TCR model, and the two will join hands to represent the NewFaster Fanshide team to fight for honor.
As the most experienced driver in the team, Li Wanqi, a Hong Kong star, has participated in the Macau Grand Prix since 1988, and has driven many famous horses in the Guia Circle. Following the 2017 Huaxia Motorsports Grand Prix in Macau, Li Wanqi joined the Xincheng Real Estate·Fanshide team and returned to the race. Huang Chuhan, Sun Junlong, and Zou Baolong, the master and apprentice, are all setting foot on the Guia track for the first time, and all the drivers are full of expectations for the next race.
Huang Chuhan, who won the first TCR championship in his career last year, will usher in his first Guia experience this weekend. He said in an interview before the race: "This is the first time our team has come to Macau to compete. , for all staff, it is both a new experience and a new challenge. Sun Junlong and Zou Baolong used to be the best partners in the field together. The two drivers worked together to win the annual championship of the national endurance race group in the 2018 season, and they are quite experienced in participating. Before arriving in Macau, Sun Junlong and Zou Baolong had started training at the Guangdong International Circuit to prepare for the adjustment of the race.
Regarding his first personal trip to Macau, Sun Junlong said: "The familiarity with the Guia Circuit is mainly achieved through continuous simulator practice, but after actually arriving here, I found that the circuit is more dangerous than I imagined, but I also don't know how to do it."
